From a university start-up business, to working with international clients, our story to becoming an established web design company has been an interesting one!
Wubbleyou Ltd is born. We officially become a limited company and go from a concept, to a local website design company.
This one was a big deal. Everyone has to start somewhere, and our start was with a local IT Networking company based in Newcastle Upon-Tyne.
Both directors graduated with a first class honours in Computer Science from Northumbria University.
Dave joined our team as an intern from University of Northumbria. Dave worked on a social project which supported the improvement of Northumberland Square in North Shields.
We signed our first international client followed by several more later this year.
We opened a second office in Staines-upon-Thames due to a growing client base in the centre of London.
Successfully deployed a web app that averages 150,000+ hits a day.
We celebrated our anniversary in style, and have worked with some great people in the last five years. Looking forward to the big ten year anniversary next!
Having had a successful internship at Wubbleyou, Kamran officially joined the team as a designer and works on our social media
Having studied online marketing at university, Talia joined the team to help our clients advertise online.
We look forward to working with new clients as well as our existing clients over the next few years.
So you've seen what we have achieved over the past five years of working with our clients. Here’s some background of the people behind Wubbleyou.
Our company was setup in the early parts of 2010 by Mark and Mike whilst studying Computer Science at Northumbria University.
After graduating from Northumbria, we took up full time roles within the business.
Mark is a PHP developer who has experience creating custom content management systems and building and integrating APIs, payment gateways and has successfully deployed numerous web services based around affiliate marketing.
Mike is a UX designer who focuses on the appearance and usability of web applications. Having worked in a range of different market sectors, he has experience in what works when it comes to design in online digital media and layout interface design.
We also recently took on Kamran, to work as a designer for Wubbleyou and also to manage our social media advertising. This was followed by adding Talia to our team to work on our online marketing campaigns for our clients.
