Wubbleyou is a software development company based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, building scalable software which empowers customer growth, automation and efficiency. We develop software for both scaleups and public sector, normally for something which hasn’t been done before.

In this role you will be working on projects for clients like the Department for Education, Northumbria University, Southampton University and North Tyneside Council, amongst many others scaling businesses.

Your tasks:
  • Work closely with the managing director Mark Renney to support technical consultancy and business analyst services (with the aim to train and coach you to be independently excellent)
  • Learn the ‘art of what is possible’, what are the core business functions and typical challenges a business faces, and how can we educate the client on how to empower growth through improvement in these areas
  • Learn how to understand technical language, and translate that into a way a client can understand – communication is key!
  • Consume lots of information to understand how to turn this into a way forward for either Wubbleyou or a client. This may be a tender opportunity for Wubbleyou, or a complicated process a client executes
  • Research solutions and working with Mark and the client to execute these and improve solutions over time
  • Help to create, document and implement key processes in this area to improve and strengthen project management and introduce best practices.
  • Drive continuous (and demonstrable) improvement and take a highly proactive approach to generate new ideas, strategies and actions
  • Learn how to use no-code solutions to leverage your business analyst mindset to deliver solutions, without knowing how to code (with lots of training and support!)

What we need from you

Importantly, you want to learn – all skills for this roles can be taught!
You will be a proactive individual who has an analytical mind and the ability to anticipate problems before they arise. You may have a mindset which allows you to see the big picture and also ‘zoom in’ on individual problems to find a solution. You would benefit from being organised and able to communicate, with a penchant for learning and questioning the status quo – everything is changeable for the right reason!
You may have an innate ability to build strong connections and engaged customer relationships and be skilled at navigating clients through a project lifecycle to achieve collective goals. A passion for learning, you will be constantly looking for new ways to improve any given current process.
Our ideal candidate does not need any business analysis experience, but has a mindset orientated towards questioning, learning, improvement and leaving things better than you found them.
Importantly, you have ambition to grow with the business and learn – any gaps you have above can be taught
